Nearly ten years on, The Ludlow was apparently looking a bit long in the tooth.

It was late 2008 when the 24-story building first opened its doors, ushering in an era of luxury living in Hell Square. The upscale rental development – arguably the first of its kind in the over-saturated three-by-three square-block – entered the scene just as area hyper-gentrification began to spiral out of control.
