From the seller’s description:

1990 Jaguar XJS12 Coupe, I own this car since 2006. Originally a Texas car, I bought it from the second owner who only had it for a few month. During my ownership I added only 16,000 miles for a total of 62,800 miles today. The car was and is rust-free, and in excellent condition.

Exterior: Bonnet and roof had a repaint prior to my ownership. All other panels seem to have original paint. There are some superficial stone chips and small scratches – all are touched up. Chrome is original with the exception of the rear bumper: I had the panels re-chromed as the original was starting to show some pitting. I would rate the overall finish a 8 out of 10. Again: No rust! I had the rims refurbished after my purchase and they still look very nice. The spare wheel in the trunk has never been used since refurbishment. The car does not leak any fluids.

Interior: Headliner was professionally redone and is in perfect condition. Aside from some wear at the driver’s seat bolster all leather is in excellent condition. The wood had been refurbished by Madeira Concept/California and is in perfect condition: No cracks or scratches. The floors are original and no rust. Trunk floor ditto. Trip computer, original Jaguar stereo, heated seats and all other electrical functions work properly.

Mechanical: I spent numerous hours in maintaining the car on a very high level. Over the years, the car was always serviced by professional mechanics or myself. The following work was done: All hoses replaced, all vacuum lines replaced, new engine harness, new air conditioning including upgrade to R134, all Marelli ignition components replaced, new steering rack (was leaking), new radiator and water pump, new fuel tank (common problem with these cars), new starter motor, rear engine/gearbox mount, new exhaust incl. catalytic converters and new shock absorbers. This listing does not include standard maintenace items like oil changes, spark plugs, filters etc. All this was done on a regular basis. Everything works.

The car was only driven in summers and always garaged and covered. The car runs smooth, is reliable and needs nothing.
