MSG Chairman and Knicks Owner James Dolan Accused of Knowledge of Sexual Misconduct by Harvey Weinstein in New Lawsuit

The Knicks owner is accused of knowledge of Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual assault.

Madison Square Garden Company executive chairman, and New York Knicks owner, James Dolan was named in a class-action lawsuit filed on Wednesday in Manhattan with knowledge of former Weinstein Company chairman Harvey Weinstein’s accused sexual misconduct.

Dolan served as the director of the Weinstein Company from 2015-2016. According to the Manhattan Federal Court, first broke by the Daily News, Dolan “knew of Weinstein’s pattern and practice of predatory sexual conduct toward women from…[Dolan’s] position as a director of TWC.” The lawsuit filed in federal court comes from six women and names Dolan a defendant connected to Weinstein in the case. The Daily Beast reports Weinstein is accused of racketeering, civil battery, assault, and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
