A Cavalier For Milady is a grotesque comedic portrait of society and “madness” featuring a young woman dressed as a child, who is kept house-bound by her mother with a tyrannical babysitter. The repressed “Nance” fantasizes about making love to a statue in the hall, which resembles Vasla Nijinsky. Meanwhile, “The Mother” and her friend “Mrs. Aid” are out for a night on the town with male escorts in Central Park. This rarely seen Tennessee Williams’ later work will be performed in a site-specific production in the Great Hall at the historic Players Club on Gramercy Park.
Dress code is business casual (no sneakers, t-shirts, shorts or ripped jeans permitted). The February 7 show will be followed
